The project started in 2020 and we were involved in the design of the ceilings throughout the mall, 5 floors in total, with an aluminum baffle ceiling scheme and wood grain and brown colors dominating the stores. There were quite a few challenges in the design and production of the project.

Many Shapes and Different Sizes

The mall covers an area of about 25,000 square meters and the ceilings on each floor had to be measured and designed individually, which was a great challenge for our design team. The client wanted a distinctive style, and the stores had to have a vintage look.

Installation and Construction

Because the raw materials for different designs of ceilings are different, some of them are aluminum profiles, some of them are aluminum coils as raw materials, their installation methods are different, and the installation fittings need to be cut on-site, etc., we need to give on-site installation guidance and make methods to cope with them.

Short Construction Period

We need to finish the design within 10 days and the production within 35 days, which is a challenge for our design and production team. However, we were able to complete the project, and the quality was guaranteed, and the customer’s response was also favorable.

Uniform Color

Because it is a shopping mall project, the color control is very strict, the color difference range is very small, but colleagues need to use different colors for different designs, and we need to achieve the same color as the sample in a short time, which is a difficult task for our raw materials and quality control.
